Plans and limits
The four OmniBuzz plans, what they include, the 5-day trial, and what happens when you go over a limit.
OmniBuzz is billed through Shopify. Plans are listed in USD, charged monthly on your Shopify invoice, and you change plan on the page Shopify hosts for the app. The Plan page in the app shows your current plan and how much of each limit you use.
| Plan | Price per month | Products | Markets |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 50 | 1 |
| Business | $11.99 | 1,000 | 3 |
| Pro | $23.99 | 10,000 | All |
| Plus | $79.99 | Unlimited | All |
Paid plans start with a 5-day free trial. The Free plan has no subscription charge.
What counts toward a limit
- Products are the products OmniBuzz tracks, without deleted products.
- Markets are the markets you have turned on. Turning a market off frees a slot.
Prices of every enabled market are read every night on every plan, so history starts building from install whatever your plan.
Price history
Price history is kept for 180 days on Free, Business and Pro, and for 730 days (24 months) on Plus. Older price changes are deleted, except the last known price of each variant and market.
On Plus you can download the price history as a CSV file in the admin, filtered by date range and by product. Each row is one recorded price: product ID, variant ID, market ID, market name, currency, price, compare-at price, the time it was observed (UTC), the date in your shop’s time zone and the row type. For each variant and market, the file starts with the price already in effect on the start date (in_effect_at_start), followed by every change in the range (change), so a variant whose price did not change in the range is still listed. The file has no product titles or SKUs. It can serve as supporting evidence if an authority checks your prices. It does not guarantee any outcome and is not legal advice.
After you leave Plus, the longer history is kept for 30 more days and is then trimmed to 180 days. Upgrading to Plus does not bring back history that was already deleted.
When the 30-day window would reach past the history that is kept, the label is hidden for that variant and market, and the admin counts it among the variants whose sale started before the stored price history. This happens when a campaign’s start, or its latest price drop, is more than about 150 days back (about 700 on Plus).
Going over a limit
Each limit has a buffer of 25%, rounded down: 62 products on Free, 1,250 on Business and 12,500 on Pro. The markets limits stay at 1 and 3.
- Within the buffer. Everything stays covered, and the Plan page says so.
- Over the buffer. A banner appears and a 15-day grace period starts for that limit. Labels stay on.
- Grace period over. That limit is gated. For products, only the newest products up to the buffer keep their labels. For markets, the primary market and the next enabled markets up to the plan limit keep theirs.
A limit that drops back within its buffer clears its own state. A downgrade uses the same 15-day grace period. When you upgrade or the plan changes, OmniBuzz recomputes labels to restore or remove them.
If Shopify cannot confirm your plan
OmniBuzz reads your plan from Shopify when you open the app and during the nightly check. If a read fails, it keeps the last known plan and tries again later. It never upgrades or downgrades you because of a failed read.
